Marching Band season is extremely fun and rewarding! From August's Band Camp through the end of November, students work both individually and as a team to develop and perform a unique and challenging field show. Bonds are formed among students, and excellence is achieved through performance and discipline.
The award-winning Bullard High School Marching Band expects the highest caliber of attitude, musicianship, and spirit from its members. As the largest performing group on the Bullard campus, the Marching Knights have the most opportunity to perform. They participate in Bullard High football games, Western Band Association field show competitions, and parades. Students have the opportunity to travel and are held to the highest of expectations as representatives of Bullard High School.
Marching Band students receive 5 P.E. credits in the Fall semester, which is listed as co-curricular P.E. on report cards/transcripts. Students must be in marching band for 4 years in order to meet total high school P.E. graduation requirements (20 points). Contact the Bullard High guidance office if you have questions about graduation requirements.
